All of our departments serve the automotive industry. We have built a strong presence and reputation in the automotive industry, we are currently building tools and producing components for all of the major OEM’ s. We operate primarily as a Tier 2 supplier, however we have also completed projects as both a Tier 1 and Tier 3 supplier.
Parts and assemblies produced by MTD are present on vehicles currently on the road across North America and Latin America and Europe.
As a portion of total sales, consumer products are the largest part of our business. Parts produced by MTD are found in a wide variety of consumer goods; from copiers, fax and business machines, to baseboard heaters, office furniture and even restaurant products.
We build tooling, run production, paint, assemble and package. Many of our customer look to us to provide turnkey manufacturing services for their products. In many cases parts come off of our production lines, are packaged and are shipped directly to wholesalers or retail locations.
Recently, many of our customers have been looking to us to provide engineering and project management solutions; working together with our customers to develop more easily manufactured products and production lines that reduce downtime and waste.
MTD has been supplying components for medical equipment and fully assembled medical products for over 25 years.
Our medical product line includes architectural headwalls, equipment carts, lighting mounts and complete lighting systems.
We manufacture components for medical equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, equipment booms and medical air compressors.
MTD manufactures components for electricity distribution and automation management equipment. Products such as electrical enclosure systems are manufactured by MTD utilizing many of our core capabilities including stamping, robotic welding and electro mechanical assembly.
